Content in social media is always changing. Trends change, new products and ideas emerge every day and people will always find something new to talk about. What has remained constant, however, is the heavy use of visuals on social sites.

This aspect works really well for designers, artists and photographers because they create visual content on a daily basis but for the every day non-artistic freelancer this may not be so easy.

So I'm providing a few absolutely amazing and absolutely free Stock Photography Websites that you can use to boost your social media content today.

Death to the Stock Photo's name may sound contradictory but this website delivers beautiful stock photography to your inbox every month. And trust me they never disappoint. The quality and context of their photography is so fresh and unique because they shoot specifically for stock photography use plus there is always an interesting story behind each month's concept. (P.S. The photos are also perfect for designing which is what I love.) You may not get to browse around their website for free but receiving their high quality photography in your inbox is a like receiving a birthday present every month.

All these websites are have a license under CC0 or Creative Commons Zero meaning you can use any of these photos for commercial purposes without attributing the artist. However, some of the site also have an Attribution Required license so pay attention when you deciding which photo to download. I always suggest @mentioning the artist/photographer's social media accounts or a link back to their social stock photography account/website just in case. Also never try to sell any photos as your own, common sense right?

Now there is one disclaimer to these free stock photography sites, you may see a lot of these pictures especially the really nice ones floating around the internet quite a few times. Because these resources are so readily available you can't always expect to be the one and only person to use a picture to brand your social media or blog with. But that's where I can help you.
